Our aim is to breed and train quality horses for the NZ sport horse market.
Based in the Waikato we stand Xerife and Jade, our imported purebred Lusitano stallions, and compliment our breeding stock with Bahama and Briosa, our foundation mares.

JO BARD
Jo Bard, proprietor of Mystery Creek Lusitanos Ltd, spent many years in England, Portugal and Ireland training, schooling, instructing and competing in several equestrian disciplines, including representing Great Britain in Working Equitation.
Whilst in the UK she gained HND in Equine Studies and her BHS AI in instructing (both internationally recognized qualifications). During this time she was able to grow an appreciation and understanding of the Lusitano. Click here for more info..
